The Fuyu Dish Collection is characterized by its lightweight, ultrathin and shiny appearance. In combination with traditional Japanese manufacturing skills, it is made by master craftman who are able to shave the wood to a thickness of a mere 2mm. Fuyu is the thinnest genuine lacquer ware in the world, created by Yamanaka lacquerware master craftsmen using the ultra-thin single-piece grinding method.
